And here it is... The site that my partner, Vanessa and I spent a good portion of the term on. When we were presented with the Team Site project, the two of us debated over whether or not to create a site from scratch, or to revamp an exsisting site. After a day or two, we decided that we were most likely called upon to redesign sites as Web Page Designers. Thus began the 'Great (and annoying long) Search' for a site that had a confusing or overly busy website that we would like to redesign.
After debating a few differant sites, we ended up on Critics.com, and began work, smoothing out the design and taking out unnessisary information.
We only did the main page though, as we assumed that, were this a real life situation, we would have only done the front page to show our clients what they were getting before we did the rest of the pages. I did the page design and set it up in Dreamweaver (The heavenly visual browser;) while Vanessa did the links (and man were there alot of links!!). I also designed a flyer for the site, and used the site's exsiting logo for a web banner, which can be seen at the top left-hand corner of the site.

I don't have much now, but I will add links to images, extra HTML (JAVA, COLD FUSION, etc) and tutorials as I create them.

Whizdom Central JPEGs and GIFs
First of the 'Extras' this page has three images. Then three Flash style GIFs that were made using said images, some text, a little resizing and Image Ready. I also created a banner for her site using Image Ready. I plan to type up a Tutorial on this one soon.

Combining Graduations, Strokes and Shadows (UNFINISHED)
This tutorial shows you how to use gradation, strokes and shadows (internal shadows) to create a metal type of effect on letters and numbers.

Multiple Angle Shadows
This tutorial shows you how to create shadows that follow the angle of the background when the background is not a flat strech of ground.

Perspective Cast Shadows
This tutorial shows you how to create shadows that follow the angle of the background when the background is not a flat strech of ground.

Perspective Front Shadows (UNFINISHED)
This tutorial shows you how to create shadows that seem to come straight towards you, as if the light source was right behind the words/image.
