Toturial Image

The steps of how to do this effect are writtian into the image, but just in case it doesn't load correctly or clearly, I have them listed below as well.

Tutorial on how the image was made

Step One: Like the multi angle shadows, you pull a image from one source onto your 'background'. Make sure
the image doesn't have a whit square around it!!! Change the image's color to black.

Step Two: Hit control-T (Mac's Command-T), right click inside the transformation box (Mac's command click)
and choose distort.

Step Three: Choose the middle adjustment box on the top line of the box. Drag down and to one side to create
the effect of the shadow falling away from object. Put the black layer BEHIND the colored image.

Step Four:   Change the foreground to black and the background to white. Click on the lock transparent
                       pixels box in the layers palette. (It's the little Lock: with a box next to it) Choose gradient, effect
                       (make sure that gradient is on forground to background) drag the gradient from the 'bottom' of the
                       shadow to the 'top'.

Step Five: Turn off the Lock transparent pixels. Click on Fliter pull down menu, choose Blur (type gaussion) Give
it a 2 pixel radius, then deselect.

Step Six: Using the polygonal lasso tool, choose the top fourth if the shadow. Select Filter, Blur, Gaussion
(5 pixels). Choose the whole shadow again and Filter, Blur, Gaussion (2 pixel) again.

Step Seven: Choose the top half of the shadow layer. Open the select menu, Feather of 5. Filter, blur Gaussion
Blur (5 pixel). Select the top 3/4^ths of the shadow layer. Filter, Blur, Gaussion Blur (2 pixels)
